Ride On Champion class busses have been taken off the road recently due to their habit to suddenly catch fire.

12 fires have occurred within the past decade and most riders are thankful that they have finally been taken off the road.  Most Frequent riders say that the would not get on if a Champion bus pulled up to their stop. Champion Busses make up about 10% of the Ride On fleet and they will be replaced by older used busses. Thankfully no one has been killed or injured in the recent fires. The reason for the fires is still under investigation.
